Humans have been plundering the environment for over fifty thousand years with little understanding or regard for the long-term consequences. John McNeill the author of Something New under the Sun, concludes that in the long term, the changing human relationship with the environment may turn out to be the most important of all changes that have occurred during the twentieth century.

The earth sustains millions of species in a global ecological system where all living things are interdependent on each other….including us. Will we continue the path of environmental degradation or can we learn from our past mistakes and save what is left of our natural environment? We believe that we can and we must.
